Wireless combined motion and glass break detector. The device helps to secure the room from intruders entering through doors and windows and monitors the current state of the glass.

  • Works up to 1,200 metres from Ajax Hub in open space or across several floors of a business centre
  • Detects motion up to 12 metres away
  • Detects breaking glass up to 9 metres away
  • Processes signals digitally
  • Ignores cats and dogs with a weight of up to 20 kg and height up to 50 cm by using the Ajax SmartMotion algorithm
  • The device detects motion even in hot climates by means of temperature compensation
  • It filters false alarms caused by thunder, dogs barking or the sound of passing trucks.
  • Two-way communication with Ajax Hub allows for periodic testing and customisation

Jeweller radio Technology

AJAX uses Jeweller wireless radio technology to communicate from the Hub to the various sensors. Range to 1700m depending on conditions and obsticales, or up to 30km using REX range extender

Battery Life

The Hubs are mains powered (with 10 hours battery backup) while the sensors have a battery life of 4 to 7 years depending on settings.

Batteries can then be recharged / replaced
